Last wednesday i went to the National Museum,it is ubicated over the septima career, between 28 and 29 streets. Is the oldest museum in Colombia, It open it doors the 4 of july in 1823.

The national museum has over sixteen collections about history, writers, painters like: Fernando Botero,Francisco Cano, etc. It also offers special activities for making scultures, painting, and all that stuff. It has four sections:art, history, archeology and etnography.

Temporarily at the National Museum is an exhibition called "un pais hecho de futbol" that seeks to tell all the stories and anecdotes told by all lovers of soccer.
In my opinion the national museum is very interesting because you can go to see exhibitions about everything, and you can go with your family to have a great time there.

Reserva Musica

The last October the 5th, we went to a Reserva Muisca, a place where they let us interact with them and teach us about their culture.

After a long explanation about their calendar, where they taught us that:

1. The year is made up of 20 moons also called sunas.
2. The year of the priests, or astronomical cycleis employed in the religious festivalsof thirty-seven moons.
3. The rural year 12 or 13 moons, there were a rainy season to another

After the explanation we went into a large walk where we met a place with a lot of water, after that, they took us to see some plants in which they also showed us the future tree, a tree with no leaves and no fruits, they explained us that if we let the world die we will die too.

Then, we went to a "house" that we had to enter backwards to let all the bad energies into the house and when we left we had to leave the same way. While we where not the "house", the man talked us about the sun and its importance and more about their traditions. This is a experience that everyone should live.

Gold Museum

Last 12 of November i went to Museo del oro.Is ubicated in the 16 street in the Santander Park, in the historic center of Bogota. It has over 30.000 gold pieces. It was inaugurated the 22 of December 1939.
There are 5 rooms. The first room is about the metals works-arts, the second one is about people and gold in the prehispanic times, the third one is about the cosmos and symbols, the fourth one is about the offering, and the last one is the exploratory.
Also we see how our primitive habitants used to work the metals especially the gold. On Sundays there is a free entrance.
From my point of view, I think is very interactive because we can see now how the relics of the past.Is a very interesting place for visiting were because the scultures and all the works of gold are very nice.

Churches: Monserrate

Church: Monserrate

Monserrate’s church is a beautiful church located in one of Bogota’s mountains called Monserrate. The only two ways now days to get to the top of the mountain where the church is found, is by cable car which by the way is a great experience because while you are in your way to the church you can also enjoy the amazing view of nature and the city or train which is a more terrestrial way in which you can see nature closer. The tickets for train or cable car cost $14.000, $8.000 or $17.000 pesos depending the day and hour of your visit.

One of the things people like the most about this place is how beautiful it looks from the top, especially at night; where you can see all the city buildings, nature and lights.

The church is surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, handicrafts, food stalls and a park. This creates a fantastic environment and aura for people of all ages.
